Walt Disney World Price Increase

Disney will make their second increase this year on December 8th, 2022

Walt Disney World recently announced that they will be changing the ticket pricing system. The new system will include "park specific pricing" for 1 day one park tickets. What does this mean for you? This means you will be paying a premium not only for the time of year you visit, but also for the park you choose. For example, a single day ticket to Magic Kingdom on a particular date, may cost you more than a ticket to Animal Kingdom Park. I would anticipate prices to increase around new attraction openings (such as Tron), celebrity performances at EPCOT, and even around some of the festivals.

Potential Cost with new pricing system:

Magic Kingdom Park - $124-$189

EPCOT - $114-$179

Disney's Hollywood Studios - $124-$179

Disney's Animal Kingdom Park - $109-$159

A key benefit to this system is that you will not be required to make a park reservation, as the reservation will automatically be added at the time of purchase! Other changes can be seen with the park hoper and park hopper plus pricing as that will begin varying by date. Even though annual passes are not currently being offered, guest who are renewing can expect a price increase as well. Will these price increases slow people down? Only time will tell - but if your thinking about booking do so by Midnight tonight (December 7th)....if not you will turn back into a pumpkin.....or end up paying a little more for your Walt Disney World ticket!
